The below desperate man succumbing to the fallacious arguments that were initially presented by the Communists in Russia and Nazi Germany.  The people were desperate and pushed in to agreeing with whoever came along that had a positive spin.  This man, I believe, is desperate and although well intentioned, doesn’t really understand that legalizing this is only going to put the next drug (“harsh drug”) in to the status the marijuana enjoys today.   The cartels across the border don’t care what they deal in.  They care only about the profit.  Heroine is just as easy and cocaine is ready many forms.  The reality is that the geographies that HAVE legalized it have an increase in crime due to, what amounts to, institutionalized advertising.  The reason that the the government may WANT to make it legal is not to “make money” through taxes, but to make money through promulgation and increase of head count in UN “social” programs.  You see.  The drug and crimes associated with distribution aren’t really milking enough from you the tax payer, so now they have to go another rout. Conversely, the drug dealers aren’t making enough “just” from drugs alone.  They are multi tasking.  People trafficing seems to be where it’s at, along side the drugs.  They go hand in hand.  It’s a 2 for 1 stop.  Get your drug and a girl all at the same place.  No need to go to a few different “distributors.”  It’s a special type of Wal Mart.

A caller to his show – an example of the brain damage associated with long term use.  To all those that say that POT isn’t dangerous, please, listen to this person that called in to the show.  I have talked to people that sound similar with moderate and even “light” usage.  To say that it’s harmless is an illusion.  Those who say that it is, please, try and understand where the core of the assertion is.  If it’s simply that it’s too hard to control, then look at HOW it’s been attempted.

The drug dealers are crippling those who are their patronage.  Yet, the victims of this brain damage are so addicted that they protect their perpetrators.

Here is another – absolutely true.  But let the “government official” pot heads tell you that the only way is to legalize it.  Why not just give up our sovereignty as a nation, because it’s too hard to keep it.  Think about it.  Isn’t it just because the fed has been  inept at the punishments and deterrents?

The real reason why LAW enforcement isn’t working on drugs, is because there is no real “punishment.”  It’s more lucrative to continue the idea that the drug trade can’t be fixed, then to create a penal code with punishments and deterrents that MAKE SENSE.    Instead, the politician give politically correct lip service and g-d forbid you stand up and call them liars and inept.

California ‘High Risk’ Prisoners Wrongly Released Due to Computer Errors

Vodpod videos no longer available.

Published May 26, 2011

SACRAMENTO –  Computer errors resulted in some 450 inmates with “a high risk for violence” being wrongly released from California prisons, the Los Angeles Times reported in its Thursday edition.

On top of the 450, more than 1,000 prisoners, deemed to be at high risk of committing drug and property crimes, were also released into the community.

All the offenders were placed on “non-revocable parole” — a program that does not require them to report to parole officers. The program, which started in January 2010, was intended for inmates considered to be at low risk of reoffending.

Reviewing 200 case files of the 10,134 former inmates on non-revocable parole last July, investigators uncovered that 31 were not eligible for the program, while nine of the 31 were deemed likely to commit a violent crime.

It was estimated, using a 15 percent error rate found in the sample, that more than 450 violent prisoners were let go in the program’s first seven months.

However, the findings were disputed by prison officials who said that some of the computer glitches had since been corrected, making the margin of error eight percent, according to a report by the inspector general.

None of the wrongly-released offenders have since been placed on supervised parole or returned to jail, inspector general spokeswoman Renee Hansen said.

Authorities declined to name the concerned prisoners and would not say what crimes they had committed.

On Monday, a divided Supreme Court ordered California to reduce prison overcrowding, a decision that could force the release of tens of thousands of inmates.

California – Democrat, Bernard C. Parks Committee sent a mailer which listed DEAD people as endorsing Parks’ reelection.

March 7, 2011

The propaganda which listed more than a dozen deceased religious and community leaders as endorsing Councilman Parks’ reelection is not a new tactic by the Democrats.  Across the nation VOTES have been cast by the dead and counted with cartoon characters. So, unfortunately, voter fraud is not something the Democrats seem to take lightly.   It’s very much a tool and a weapon in their ability to win election after election.  It makes one wonder just HOW much is the result of these fraudulent endeavors across the nation.  We know it’s rampant in Chicago, California, New York, and Texas.  But to what extent is the question.  Should the American people have any faith at all?

Dead Can’t Vote: Parks Mailer Named Deceased ‘Supporters’

vote_button.jpgA mailer sent by an independent political action committee on behalf of Bernard C. Parks lists, among other inaccuracies, dead people supporting his reelection.

L.A. County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas, who was also erroneously named as a supporter, backs Parks’ opponent in the City Council race and has slamed the Chamber of Commerce-sponsored campaign mailer calling it one of the “most stunning displays of political manipulation” he’s ever seen, reports the LA Times.

Candidates and campaigns cannot by law coordinate with independent committees that spend on their behalf, however Ridley-Thomas thinks Parks should denounce the piece sent by Los Angeles Jobs PAC, notes the LA Times. Said Parks, “The reason they’re called independent is because we have nothing to do it. It’s unfortunate, and I would hope that whoever paid for it got their money back.”

L.A. Chamber President expressed embarrassment and anger over the mailer that listed more than a dozen deceased religious and community leaders as endorsing Councilman Parks’ reelection. He said the committee’s vendor, Englander, Knabe & Allen, used a “woefully outdated” list of supporters from 2003 City Council race.

France – Michele Alliot-Marie, French FM, backs Palestinian Statehood – even after being attacked an misquoted about Gilad Shalit’s imprisonment being a war crime.

January 22, 2011

She may not like the Burqa, but that doesn’t mean she’s pro Jew or Israel and here she is to prove it.

Maybe this is her way or better yet FRANCES way to say that even though they may be against SHARIAH and ISLAMAZATION, they are not FOR ISRAEL.

French Justice Minister Michele Alliot-Marie on Wednesday presented a draft law to the Cabinet banning Muslim veils that cover the face, the first formal step in a process to forbid such attire in all public places in France. It calls for USD 185 fines and, in some cases, citizenship classes for women who run afoul of the law.

France has always been a bit of a two faced country.  They brought the world Napoleon didn’t they?  Eh, who remembers old Napi anyway.  History repeats itself.

After being attacked in Gaza, Michele Alliot-Marie slams settlements, says state needed ASAP

French Foreign Minister Michele Alliot-Marie said Saturday that her country does not recognize the legitimacy of West Bank settlements and that Israel must stop building them.

“France supports the establishment of an independent, democratic Palestinian state as soon as possible,” she said at the conclusion of her visit to Israel.

Alliot-Marie visited the town of Sderot Friday after being attacked by angry Palestinians in the Gaza Strip earlier in the day.

Dozens of Gazans encircled the minister’s car while hurling eggs and shoes at it as result of a comment mistakenly attributed to Alliot-Marie, who was erroneously quoted as saying that the holding of Gilad Shalit is a war crime.

Meanwhile Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad said the future state’s infrastructure would be ready by August, according to plan.

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Fayyad defied skepticism voiced by other officials regarding his schedule. “Unless we have the spirit to defy it, it’s not going to happen. Unless we believe it, how is it going to become a reality?” he said.

But the leader stressed that a Palestinian state will have to include Hamas in Gaza, despite the current rift with Fatah in the West Bank. He also denied having a secret plan to disengage from Israel unilaterally.

“Getting ready for statehood, by itself, is not going to end the occupation. It’s necessary, but not sufficient. You need a political process to deliver on that,” he said.

California – Los Angeles – Corruption without restraint.

September 23, 2010

These people are a ring of thieves.

How is it that they were not discovered sooner?

Looks like there are probably others who have been covering up for them and it’s probably more extensive than just this small band of thieves.

Prosecutors detail steps Bell leaders allegedly took to hide high salaries:

Court documents accuse former City Administrator Robert Rizzo of ordering an employee to draft false contracts and other records to conceal how much he and council members made

By Jack Leonard, Los Angeles Times

September 23, 2010

Los Angeles County prosecutors, in records obtained Wednesday by The Times, lay out in the most detail yet the lengths to which they allege former Bell City Administrator Robert Rizzo went to hide extravagant salaries for himself and other city officials.

The court documents accuse Rizzo of directing an employee to draft false contracts and other records in September 2008 that concealed how much he and council members made. Then a few months ago, under growing scrutiny of his salary, the city manager asked a subordinate to obtain Mayor Oscar Hernandez’s signature on some of those 2008 contracts, the court filing says. The subordinate pointed out that another council member had been the mayor in 2008.

“Rizzo directed the subordinate to obtain Oscar Hernandez’s signature anyway because Hernandez would be willing to sign,” the documents say. “The subordinate did so.”

The allegations were made in court documents asking a judge to prevent Rizzo and seven other current and former city leaders charged this week from using money improperly taken from Bell to bail themselves out of jail.

Rizzo’s attorney, James W. Spertus, did not return a call seeking comment on the allegations. But he has repeatedly said that his client is innocent.

The prosecution documents allege that Rizzo used the false 2008 contracts in response to questions about his salary. He allegedly told one citizen who asked whether he was really making $400,000, “If I can make that kind of money, I wouldn’t be working here.”

Prosecutors accused Rizzo of continuing to use the false contracts in recent months amid growing scrutiny of his salary by the district attorney’s office and others.

Sometime after June, one of the false 2008 contracts was given to the city attorney following requests for records of Rizzo’s pay. The contract listed Rizzo’s salary as $221,460. In reality, Rizzo was on course to make more than $1.5 million in salary and benefits this year.

As recently as last week, Rizzo pointed to the contracts in response to questions from the state attorney general’s office and falsely claimed they were genuine and were approved by the City Council, the court documents allege.

“By continuing to maintain the fiction that the documents purporting to be September 2008 contracts are genuine, Mr. Rizzo continues to retain public funds feloniously obtained,” Deputy Dist. Atty. Max Huntsman wrote in one of the court documents.

As The Times reported earlier this month, prosecutors said that the contracts were never approved by the council. In addition, Huntsman alleged that Assistant City Administrator Angela Spaccia’s computer was used in 2005 to generate a contract that gave her large raises without council approval.

“A substantial portion of her compensation from the City of Bell appears to have been obtained feloniously,” Hunstman wrote.

Spaccia was charged this week with misappropriating public funds, but she was not charged in connection with the alleged 2005 contract.

The court documents also say Rizzo directed an employee to draft a memo in 2008 that listed council member pay as about $8,000 a year. In reality, council members were making far more — nearly $100,000 earlier this year.

Rizzo, 56, is charged with 53 felony counts of misappropriation of public funds, falsification of public documents and conflicts of interest. If convicted, he faces up to 58 years in state prison.

The other Bell defendants are charged with misappropriating public funds. All eight are expected to enter pleas Oct. 21.

Wearing brown jail scrubs and shackled to a waist chain, Rizzo appeared in court Wednesday alongside the seven other defendants. He rocked gently back and forth in his chair as his attorney argued that his bail should be reduced.

“He has been here for 30 years,” Spertus said in court. “There is nowhere to run…. Everybody knows his face.”

Superior Court Judge Michael E. Pastor reduced Rizzo’s bail from $3.2 million to $2 million, but declined to significantly change the bail amounts for the other defendants.

“The charged offenses are, in my opinion, extremely serious,” Pastor said.

Councilwoman Teresa Jacobo was released on $260,000 bail, and Councilman Luis Artiga was released on $120,000 bail. Former Councilman George Cole was expected to be released late Wednesday. Rizzo, Spaccia, Hernandez and Councilman George Mirabal and former Councilman Victor Bello remained behind bars late Wednesday.
