Taking a Break

June 7, 2011

Hi everyone.

I have been trying to post, but it’s been increasingly difficult.

I don’t believe in writing when it’s forced.

It’s painful, because I have multiple family issues that require extreme and utmost attention.

I don’t short change my family.

I’m a WIFE,  a Mother, and a Daughter.  I work full time – this is not my job. I don’t make any money here.  I must leave for a while to attend to two very seriously life altering situations in my life and that of my family.  I can only ask for your prayers.  My mother has grown seriously ill and potentially fatally.  I am also going to have a baby.  I am not a young woman, so it’s been difficult.  But I can’t short change my writing either.  So, I am putting the blog down for a while.

I plan to return.  I LOVE writing, politics, history and science and I’m a female, which means I have an OPINION.  But MY FAMILY COMES FIRST.

I appreciate everyone’s comments.  The good, the bad and even the ugly.

NY – The price to educated in a system with Government Schools – Communist Russia was better than this

Kindergarten Waitlists Stress Out Upper East Side Parents Updated 3 hrs ago

April 12, 2011 12:12pm   Updated April 13, 2011 7:22am

Government schools are the reason why this is going on.

It’s also the reason why these parents will resort to just about anything to get their children to a safe environment.  It’s not just about education.  The public school system in NY is DANGEROUS

I was a product of the better times.  Now, there are no better times.  Those schools are extreme.  They harbor criminals.  They educate children into crime.

I was beat up and almost didn’t make it.

Eventually, I joined the military.  I got out.

I would never go back.  Not to that place.  Not to the boroughs of NEW YORK.  Never.  Manhattan is nice to visit, because it’s a tourist place.  Don’t bother with the rest.  It’s a dump.

Kindergarten Waitlists Stress Out Parents on the Upper East Side

UPPER EAST SIDE — The parents of waitlisted 5-year-olds on the Upper East Side have another 13 years to worry about getting their kids into college, but they’re already getting a lesson in anxiety.

Eighty-five children are waitlisted for P.S. 59, on East 63rd Street between Second and Third Avenues, the latest Department of Education numbers showed. At P.S. 290, on East 82nd Street between First and Second Avenues, 65 kids are on the waitlist.

Adding to the angst, the waitlist numbers are changing daily, DOE officials told a room of tense Upper East Side parents on Monday night.

The lists change as children were admitted to private schools, education officials said, and they would continue to fluctuate until June when families will hear whether their kids get into gifted and talented programs.

“Last year, looking at the top six waitlists in Manhattan, on average 20 percent of students did not end up enrolled in their zoned school,” DOE representative Elizabeth Rose told parents, hoping to allay fears. “There is a lot of movement off these lists.”

That figure instead evoked grumbles and sighs.

“You hope people are going to leave and go to the suburbs or go to private school?” one man yelled out in despair.

“We have tracked the numbers of students who go to [gifted and talented programs],” Rose responded. “Based on that history, we are confident we will place all the students in District 2,” she said of this Manhattan school district that stretches to Lower Manhattan.

Parents would get offers to send their kindergartners to alternatives to their first choice schools some time in May, Rose said.

Students will be assigned to other schools based on geographic proximity.

Some of the kids in P.S. 59’s zone, she explained, might go to schools south of 63rd Street, while four schools north of it — P.S. 151, 158, 198 and 267 — would pick up others.

Upper East Side schools were rezoned just a few months ago to alleviate overcrowding, but DOE officials warned then that changing zones would not eliminate kindergarten waitlists — especially in the case of P.S. 290, where blocks initially taken out of the zone were eventually added back.

“There was a lot of pushback from parents in 290,” Rose said. “They said they would rather take the risk of a waitlist than being put in another school’s zone.”

But before sending out letters about these alternative schools, education officials were considering adding one more section of kindergarten at one of three schools that might have room — P.S. 151, 158 and 267 — Rose said.

Parents wanted to know why they couldn’t have a say in the process to let the DOE know their second or third choices.

One parent, whose son is waitlisted at P.S. 59, told DNAinfo she would prefer to go south since she has to take her daughter to daycare downtown.

“This is not a choice process,” Rose told parents. “We have one process citywide.”

“The fair way to do this, to be as close as possible, is based on geography,” she said.

Parents could apply for a special exemption if they have a hardship, she told parents. Rose also told parents that their children would be eligible for a bus ride, if given a school more than half a mile from where they lived.

But that only stoked more questions.

Parents asked how many adults would supervise the kids on the bus. They wanted to know if the bus driver would drop off a 5-year-old if the parent, for some reason, wasn’t at the bus stop in the afternoon.

One dad shouted “When does the lobbying begin?”

A mother, who lives on the same block as P.S. 290, told DNAinfo how upsetting it would be to walk by there every morning with her son and explain why he can’t go there.

Another parent told DNAinfo he moved around the corner from P.S. 290 when his daughter was born so she could go there.

“I’m still very confused,” this dad said after the Q & A with DOE officials. “We just have to wait. It’s going to be a horrible summer.”

(Parents didn’t want their names used, fearing it could jeopardize their children’s chances of getting off the waitlist.)

Wisconsin – Oconto County – Step daughter (14 year old girl) attempts to kill pregnant step mom with ANTI-Freeze. Chyanne Otto is a disturbed female.

January 21, 2011

Should we now consider a age requirement for buying anti-freeze?

Chyanne is on her way to a personal hell that she created.  If she’s lucky.  This would mean that she has remorse and a conscience.  It doesn’t sound that way from her diary.  The below statement is admission that she was FULLY aware of the fact that this was REALLY WRONG.

“I so want to kill Dawn, but she is pregnant. So I am going to kill her and the baby or just her and wait until October,” the complaint claims that Chyanne Otto wrote in her journal.

She understood that the step-mom was pregnant.  She also didn’t CARE.  The fact that she says pregnant describes the step mom in a CONDITION.

This in my opinion is the result of our oversexed society and repeated instruction to young woman to visit “Planned Parenthood” to get their abortions and contraception.  There is NOTHING about “planned” in PP.  They don’t give advice to women if they are pregnant and WANT THE BABY.  THAT too is PLANNED.  Keeping the baby is a PLAN.  They offer nothing related to that.  They offer nothing on problems CONCEIVING.   This name should be revealed as a DECEPTION.

The constant barrage of mis information and DEHUMANIZING an unborn CHILD is part of the reason why there is little empathy for a pregnant woman.  There is a sense of disconnect.

This young woman, yes fourteen is not a child, is on her way to monsterhood.

We have more empathy for someone killing a dog, then a woman (pregnant no less)

This story didn’t even get much local attention.  Just a little.

Teen accused of trying to kill stepmother

Girl allegedly put antifreeze in drink

A 14-year-old Oconto County girl is accused of trying to kill her pregnant stepmother by putting antifreeze in the woman’s sports drink.

Chyanne Otto of Suring is charged with attempted first-degree intentional homicide, a felony. A criminal complaint filed in Oconto County Circuit Court alleged that the teen in May 2010 slipped anti-freeze into a bottle of PowerAde, and that her stepmother, Dawn Otto, drank from it.

“I so want to kill Dawn, but she is pregnant. So I am going to kill her and the baby or just her and wait until October,” the complaint claims that Chyanne Otto wrote in her journal.

The complaint also alleges that the teen wrote, “Dawn won’t die, I gave her a bunch of junk of stuff out of the garage last week and she is not dead, so I am doing it again with only antifreeze, so hopefully it works.”

Dawn Otto drank from the bottle, noticed an unusual taste, and phoned her husband thinking he might have been using the container to store chemicals.

The complaint stated that the teen’s family became suspicious of the girl in the fall, after receiving a call from the parent of one of the girl’s classmates. The Ottos then checked the girl’s journal, the complaint said.

Someone convicted of attempted first-degree homicide can be imprisoned for up to 60 years.

Chyanne Otto is scheduled for the balance of her initial appearance Wednesday. She was released on a $50,000 signature bond under the conditions that she live with her grandfather and have no contact with her stepmother.

Texas – Taylor – Gun shoots man at who was robbing owners house

October 27, 2010

I titled it that way so that people would see how silly it is to blame KILLING on GUNS.

Sometime, FORCE is necessary, when it’s in defense of that which is what we hold dear

Man shoots robber at his house

‘Resident has a right to protect his home’

TAYLOR, Texas (KXAN) – Taylor police said Quinnton Gault, 22, is charged with aggravated robbery after he broke into the home of James Baldwin.

Police said Gault used a knife to rob Baldwin of his wallet and cell phone. But as he left, Baldwin shot Gault with a 22-revolver. Gault ran away, but police found him hiding in the bushes near the home later with a gunshot wound to his side.

“You have the right to protect yourself in your home,” said Daniel Ramsay, assistant police chief. “We don’t encourage anyone the fire a firearm because we don’t know where the bullet is going to go.”

Doctors did remove the bullet from Gault. He was arrested after being discharged from the hospital.

Home invasion victim shoots robber in self defense

A man reportedly used his handgun in self defense against a home invading armed robber.

Police say that a robber, who was armed with a knife, broke into a home in Taylor, TX and confronted the homeowner, taking his wallet and cell phone at knifepoint.  The homeowner was then reportedly able to grab a .22 revolver and fire at the robber, striking him in the abdomen and causing him to flee.  Police arrived at the scene and found a suspect, reportedly identified as 22 year old Quinnton Gault, hiding in the bushes near the home and suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen, according to news reports.  Gault was reportedly treated at a local hospital and then charged with aggravated robbery upon his release from the hospital.

Those opposed to gun ownership for self defense like to suggest that crime victims will be unable to get their self defense gun in time to stop an armed criminal.  That is simply not the case.  Here, the homeowner was able to get a gun and use it to shoot a man who was already in his home and armed with a knife.

Nor is this an isolated incident.  Just looking at a few other self defense cases as examples, it is clear that crime victims are often able to get their gun and shoot in self defense, stopping the criminal and avoiding harm themselves: This homeownermanaged to get his gun from a drawer, despite the fact that a criminal held a knife to him.  This elderly man managed to grab a self defense gun, despite being shocked with a stun gun and beaten by a 24 year old man.  This man managed to draw his concealed carry handgun and shoot an armed robber in self defense, despite the fact that that robber was standing behind him and pointing a shotgun at his back.  This jewelry store ownermanaged to grab his gun from under a desk, despite the fact that two robbers were in his store, one of whom had a gun pointed at him.  This pawnshop manager managed to shoot an armed in self defense, saving himself and his teenage employee, despite the fact that a gun was being held to that employee’s throat.  I could go on withmany more examples, but the point should be clear – armed self defense works.

Indiana – Indianapolis – Somali mother locks her kids in closet – 2 children dead

September 25, 2010

This disgusting individual put 2 children in the closet and says that she didn’t know that it was wrong.  How is it that she didn’t know that this would end badly?   This woman is sub human.

She must be Muslim.  She comes from Somalia and all the people around her are burqa clad vipers.  The woman had 5 children and was only 28 years old.  She comes from a country and religion that cares nothing for LIFE.

Islam is at it’s CORE is a religion and ideology that is of Conquest.  Conquest yields submission, because that is the CORE of Conquest.   The children didn’t submit so they had to PAY.  Pay they did.

My Diversity Detector begins to twitch when I see foreigners who seem to go crazy and kill their children — like trailer park alien Gilberta Estrada, distraught mother Angelica Alvarez and Somali father Said Biyad.

Such crimes are partially the result of Washington’s inexplicable infatuation with third-world immigrants and the associated belief that immigration is a glorious process that celebrates humanity. Down at ground level however, relocating a family to a totally different society is one of the most stressful actions one can take.

The normal anxiety that people experience in a tough economy is multiplied for foreigners when they don’t understand the language or know the ropes. When luck turns bad, a parent may snap or act very stupidly toward the children who have constant needs whatever the family circumstances.

The most recent tragic tale concerns the asphyxiation of two children who were stuffed into a small closet with two other siblings by their motherEbyan Farah, a Somali immigrant, when she left home for more than 10 hours.

The press has been full of stories for years about the backward nature of Somalis and how they must be taught how to work a light switch or door knob. (Reporters apparently think that such details add a positive note reflecting the wonders of diversity and may not understand how horrified some readers are to learn of the primitives thrust into their communities. See Cliff Notes Assimilation for Somalis.)

How retrograde was the Somali mom after residing in the United States for a decade? Did she believe that closets were clever American inventions for stashing children?

Her behavior was bizarre by American standards, but then she is a Somali.

Surviving child says mom often kept kids in closet, WTHR, September 23, 2010

Indianapolis – The mother accused of neglect for locking her five children in a bedroom closet pleaded not guilty Thursday. Two of those children died.

Dozens of members of the local Somali community were in court to hear about the eight felony charges that have been filed against 28-year-old Ebyan Farah in connection to the deaths of two of her children, ages 3 and 4. Charges include criminal confinement and neglect resulting in death.

“We did not charge murder, so this is not an intentional killing,” said David Wyser, Marion County deputy prosecutor. [. . .]

According to court documents, Farah locked her children in the closet at 6:00 am Sunday morning and didn’t get them out for more than 10 hours at 4:20 in the afternoon. That entire time they had no food, water or adequate ventilation.

After finding the dead children, Ebyan Farah told her uncle, “I did something wrong,” and then began crying.

But according to her seven-year-old daughter who survived the ordeal, this was not a one-time event. She told a social worker her mother “often placed her and her brothers and sisters in the closet for punishment or when she needed to cook.”

The deaths are another diversity tragedy. The crime could have been prevented if America’s public policy had a more realistic attitude about human nature and didn’t import such radically different people to dump into our towns and cities.

The courts will find Farah insane, which is more socially acceptable than the more accurate verdict: Inappropriate Immigrant. She will be institutionalized at great cost to the taxpayer, and nothing will be learned.

OBAMA administration is in charge of Army cover up of Ft. Jackson’s food poisoning scandle .

March 1, 2010

It’s a cover up!

The US Army messed up.  This program is the result of years of de fanging the military.  We have no intelligence.  Wow!  How would the public react if we let everyone know that we have no intelligence to speak of.   The enemy already knows, so it’s not like this is a “national” secret.  The only secret being kept is by the US from the US and the Western countries.  This is a monumental blunder.  The people will find out.  It’s no use.  It’s only a matter of time.

The Army doesn’t give a reason why these “soldiers” were removed.  It’s not saying where they are being returned to.  The FISH when it begins to stink, stinks from the top (from the head).

Gen. Casey, Rep. Wilson and the Jackson Five

By Chet Nagle 03/01/10 at 12:00 AM

Gen. George Casey, silver-haired Army chiefs of staff, the White House, and mainstream media are dancing fast and singing loud. They are convincing us the Fort Hood massacre was the act of a lone and sadly deranged gunman, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, who just incidentally happens to be a devout Muslim. They are doing a great whitewash of that November day when Hasan shouted Allahu Akbar as he shot and killed 13 and wounded 30 in the worst terror attack since 9/11. But a month later, on Dec. 15, 2009, the “Jackson Five” appeared and threatened to upstage the whole show. How could five nameless upstarts force Gen. Casey and Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) into damage control?

Fort Jackson is in Wilson’s district, the Army’s largest Initial Training Center. On 1,200 acres near Columbia, S.C., it trains half of all recruits (70 percent of all women) entering the Army. The huge base serves 40,000 hot meals daily in 13 dining halls. On Dec. 15, the Army’s Criminal Investigation Division (CID) got a tip that five Muslim recruits were planning to poison the base’s food supply, and that they were in contact with Washington, D.C.-area Muslims who traveled to Pakistan to train as jihadist fighters. The CID’s secret arrest of the Jackson Five was uncovered by Erick Stakelbeck of CBN News on Feb. 18, 2010. But the Army blackout simply got blacker.

The conspirators were in the Army’s 902nd Military Intelligence Group’s MOS 09L program (“Lima Nine”), E Company, 187th Ordnance Battalion. Lima Nine was started because of the Army’s desperate lack of linguists speaking Pashto, Dari or Arabic. To attract such recruits, military intelligence promises foreigners that if they join the Army as a translator they will get U.S. citizenship and a top security clearance. Candidates from Afghanistan and Iraq, including the Jackson Five, speak such poor English the Army puts them in Lima Nine and gives them English lessons, so they will have some hope of passing basic training. Clayton Leishman, program manager, said 34 recruits in the program last summer scored 50 in English, below the 80 required, but with 24 weeks of tutoring they would pass basic. Another program director, Lt. Col. Frank Deminth, said Lima Nine recruits are put on a fast track to U.S. citizenship, “once they serve one day of honorable active duty.” It is interesting to note that when these Muslims join Lima Nine they also are joining an Army intelligence group.

The arrest of five Muslims in Lima Nine could not have come at a worse time for Gen. Casey, who said of Hasan’s massacre, “What happened at Fort Hood was a tragedy. But I think it would be a greater tragedy if it (affected) our diversity.” Whatever hour of the night he was told about the Jackson Five, it must have seemed to him his treasured ‘diversity’ had jumped up yet again to bite his four-starred posterior. Casey must have leaped into action. As a result, what happened was nothing—for two months. Dead silence. Then CBN found out about it, and conflicting statements by Army and CID spokesmen and by Rep. Wilson tell the rest of the story.

Unconfirmed initial reports said three of the Jackson Five were sent back to National Guard units, one was to be discharged under Chapter 5-17, AR 635-200, and one was being held until the investigation was over. Reports also indicated two of the suspects had stolen military ID cards and cell phones from other soldiers. No further reference was made to these reports by the Army except to say four of the five recruits were returned to their country of origin. The country was not named.

CID spokesman Chris Grey said on Feb. 18, “…there is no credible information to support the allegations.” He could not give details, or name the suspects, or name their nationality, or specify why they were deported.
