This man was assassinated because he was a MODERATE MUSLIM.
Being a moderate MUSLIM, to Muslims means that one DOES NOT adhere to the word of the KORAN. At least not all of them. It means that the words that are horrible, the words that kill, about all of the KORAN as it pertains to people who ARE NOT MUSLIM. These Moderate Muslims stray from the Koran in that they are perceived positively in the WEST (or other places that are not Muslim) So, these Muslims, in order to be perceived and accepted POSITIVELY, must NOT adhere to their HOLY books.
Now, put that same idea into any other Religion. Do we perceive Christians better if they STRAY from their HOLY books?
Are Jews more MORAL if they DO NOT follow the Torah?
What logic does this make?
The people who are Muslim and are not so because of heritage or bondage, are HORRIBLY vicious. This is what this book teaches and it’s pinnacle tenants are: Conquest and Submission.
In no other Religion is it better to be LESS RELIGIOUS. Yet, this is what the WEST has embraced as LOGICAL?
No one CHOOSES a Religion to be LESS religious. Converts to Islam are especially dangerous because of this.
If you look at it from the side of the terrorist, then you can see that it’s the governor who was acting outside the “law” of the land. So, is he a terrorist? Or is he a FREEDOM fighter?
Don’t get me wrong. I believe that Shariah is a EVIL LAW and that Islam is EVIL. But the logic is this: that the people of the ME have been governed by Evil for a long time. They choose EVIL not even understanding that it’s NOT good or Moral.
This is Shariah – this is Islam. Islam will never be good, because to be less EVIL is to be LESS Islamic.
Top Pakistan Official Killed By His Own Guard
The governor of Pakistan’s powerful Punjab province has been killed by one of his own guards at a market in the capital Islamabad, police have said.
It was the most high-profile assassination of a political figure in the country since former prime minister Benazir Bhutto was killed in December 2007.
The latest victim, Salman Taseer, was shot dead by a member of his elite security team after he reached Khosar Market, police said.
Witnesses reportedly claimed a man fired two shots at the governor as he was leaving his vehicle.
One said: “The governor fell down and the man who fired at him threw down his gun and raised both hands.”
The suspect was taken into custody following the shooting at the shopping centre, which is popular with Westerners and wealthy Pakistanis.
Five other people were wounded as security personnel reacted to the incident.
It is not known if the assailant was injured.
The governor meets a woman sentenced to death for blasphemy
Mr Taseer was a high-profile member of Ms Bhutto’s Pakistan People’s Party and a close associate of President Asif Ali Zardari, Ms Bhutto’s widower.
He was vocal on a range of subjects, including speaking out against the country’s blasphemy law in recent days.
Interior Minister Rehman Malik claimed the governor was probably killed because he opposed that law.
Human rights groups say the legislation is often exploited by religious extremists as well as ordinary Pakistanis to settle personal scores.
Islamist groups have been angry over what they believe were government plans to change or scrap the law.
They have defended the controversial legislation and slammed those who were against it.
