Legal and ILLEGAL Aliens may participate in elections – Kiss your country goodbye. Sovereignty in peril in the US. This is a VOTE for TREASON!

Aliens have NO allegiance to this country.

An allegiance is a duty of fidelity said to be owed by a subject or a citizen to his/her state or sovereign.<>

Sovereignty is in question if Aliens have those privileges.

Democrats have long participated in VOTER FRAUD.  One only needs to look to programs like ACORN.

This is outright a call for TREASON.

How can Americans relinquish their rights like this?

With CZARS that have been placed that allow the EXECUTIVE power to circumvent the representatives of the people and NOW the ABDICATION of local control, the people who are the legal citizens of this land will no longer be citizens of this country.  We will become the INDIANS who are currently existing in NAME only.

The people will VOTE to have more people VOTE, that have no allegiance, will quickly find out that they will vote AGAINST THEM.  The people who vote will have no NEED for a FUTURE.  This is the beauty of allegiance.  It shows people that they care and think about what would be best for today and the future.  The illegal has no allegiance to the FUTURE as it pertains to YOU, the legal voter, because they may leave at any time whether by choice or force.

This is a SAD day.  OUR representatives are so power hungry for the immediate position that they would allow the treasonous act of diminishing our sovereignty to this extent.  This is a fact that needs to be considered and examined by the people.  This idea should come under scrutiny and be treated as a potential breach of our POLITICAL system by foreign INFILTRATION.

Our right to VOTE is a SACRED right.  It is not something that should be GIVEN away.  It should be guarded and pure.

How Involved Should Undocumented Immigrants Be in Elections?:

By ELISE FOLEY 10/22/10 3:01 PM

There are about 11 million illegal immigrants in the United States, many of whom have children in public schools and pay property and sales taxes. They can’t vote in federal elections or in most municipal elections, but they can volunteer for campaigns and canvass for causes they support.

<How do they know?  They are ILLEGAL.  I believe that if they have that number as an official number, then the real number is probably more like 33 million. >

The Washington Post has an article today on efforts by OneAmerica Votes, an arm of the large immigrant rights organization OneAmerica, to get immigrants involved in the election. Non-citizens — both undocumented immigrants and legal residents — are canvassing for Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) in support of comprehensive immigration reform:

Pramila Jayapal, head of OneAmerica Votes, says the campaign is about empowering immigrants who may not feel like they can contribute to a campaign because they can’t vote.

“Immigrants really do matter,” Jayapal said. “If we can’t vote ourselves, we’re gonna knock on doors, or get family members to vote.”

So far the illegal immigrants going door-to-door aren’t meeting opposition. Craig Keller, an organizer for Respect WA, a group pushing for stricter immigration law in the Washington, said he doesn’t mind illegal immigrants volunteering for vote drives, he just wants to make sure mistakes on the voter rolls don’t allow them to vote.

“Anybody can go out and wave a sign, but when it comes to who’s making the choices, there’s no question they need to be citizens,” Keller said.

As I reported today, voters in two cities will decide on Nov. 2 whether to allow non-citizens to vote in certain elections. In Portland, Maine, a ballot question could allow legal immigrants who have not yet obtained citizenship to vote in municipal elections. In San Francisco, a proposition would allow all parents of public school students to vote in school elections regardless of their legal status.

Supporters argue the efforts are about fairness: Immigrants pay taxes, so they should be able to have a say in government. It’s not unprecedented: Chicago allows all parents to vote in its school elections, and six Maryland cities allow legal immigrants to vote in municipal elections. Early in the country’s history, non-citizens could vote in nearly every state.

<Illegals pay SOME taxes.  However, they also receive the majority of the services.  Healthcare and education is FREE.  They DON’T pay INCOME TAXES for either STATE or Federal.  I would love to pay only SALES TAX and maybe some other incidental taxes.  Meanwhile, the Illegal Mexicans -and legal ones- get SPANISH language EDUCATION for their kids.  I don’t get Russian —- and I PAY the bloody school taxes and INCOME taxes.  Yet my kid is DENIED entry to pre – K (I was told that the only public pre K was for “English as a second language” –my kid had the wrong LANGUAGE.  The preferential treatment was for Spanish speakers ONLY.  That is DISCRIMINATION.  )  MY country, which I served, Discriminates against ME.>

But opponents of the measures argue the right to vote should be restricted to citizens, claiming to do otherwise would disincentivize gaining citizenship for legal residents. “It’s silly not to require that formal step of marrying America instead of just shacking up,” Mark Krikorian, executive director of the pro-enforcement Center for American Studies.

Stanley Renshon, also of the Center for Immigration Studies, made a similar point in a post about the OneAmerica canvassing effort:

What’s wrong with illegal immigrants taking part in the political process by trying to convince others to vote for pro-legalization candidates? Legally, as noted, nothing; ethically a great deal. […]

They have no legal standing as members of the American national community and no moral standing, either, since they are present only by virtue of their own decision to violate American immigration laws.

Renshon is right about at least the legality of the issue: Immigrants have every right to participate in campaigns. If the ballot initiatives pass in San Francisco and Portland, Maine, they will also legally be allowed to vote.

All I know about Senator Harry Reid, Barbara Boxer and generally–ALL–Liberal Democrats are that they are genuflecting to illegal aliens and an Liberal-Dem Incumbent returns means Amnesty for the 13 to 20 million living here. Reid has affirmed that in the Lame Duck session of the Senate he will pass this abhorrent Amnesty to criminals. What remains is the silence, about the cost of $2.6 Trillion dollars (Heritage Foundation), to make it comfortable for illegal aliens which will come out of taxpayers’ pockets; added to the 13. 5 Trillion Federal Debt we already have accumulated. The far left progressives have already voted for the illegal invasion and to extend our Social Security to them, even the ones who never paid into the system (May 2007) GOOGLE—On The Issues website. WE ARE DIGGING OUR OWN FINANCIAL GRAVES WITH REID IN SENATE AND BOXER.

Under another reign of the Liberal Democrats, America might just as well open the border gates wide; demolish the half-completed fence between our Southern border and the other side. Then have Senator Harry Reid, Barbara Boxer, Russell Feingold, Jerry Brown, standing at each entrance handing out maps, welfare chits, a brand new Social security cards, a drivers’ license and about $600 dollars of taxpayer money. Hey! Reid says we can take more foreigners into our midst, as we only have 15 million citizens and legal residents, looking for a job, while 8.6 illegal nationals are gainfully employed. Have every Democrats lackey stand outside each border hospital and proffer to every pregnant woman, who reached America a brand new birth certificate, for the potential instant citizenship baby, a check for the public benefit line and a signup sheet for low income Section 8 housing—so the whole family can join them.

Additionally, for every child they now have from now on, food stamps, cash payments and a medicade card for future pregnancies. The wives can churn out more children to become immediate citizens and swell our schools to overload, where nobody is learning because the teachers have to first contend with children, where English is a second language. In California where 18.9 percent of the kids drop-out of high school, because many teachers don’t comprehend English, as they have been recruited from South of the border. Democrats could lay-off the US Border patrol, the DEA, ICE and other policing authorities, so that the uneducated, those carrying contagious diseases, the destitute and other foreign peons could take the jobs of our own impoverished workforce.

Maybe the Catholic Church and other religious groups will take the illegal nationals into their homes, feed them. Perhaps we should place notices in every barrio, ghetto around the world and have these nonsensically politicians procure military aircraft, to fly in every foreign national, every criminal and terrorist into our nation. Have fleets of buses waiting to transport them, to every corner of America, with stop-offs at hospitals for the sick, mentally handicapped and old. We should have ambulances waiting at the border or airport terminals, to drive those individual who must get immediate dialysis, prescription drugs or a major surgery. With the Obama’s new medical care reform most of these special issues will be recognized, as illegal aliens will have no insurance or any ability to pay for physician’s treatment.

They walk away completely free of paying and once again the taxpayer-patsy will get the bill, while citizens will be chased down by obnoxious debt collectors. Taxpayers can foot the bill as they have always done and my guess always will, unless these corrupt politicians on both sides of the aisle in Washington actually work for the American people. That’s why THE PEOPLE’S TEA PARTY has risen in a revolution, to halt the corruption and greed of both parties. GOOGLE—NumbersUSA website and Judicial Watch and learn about the deep seated corruption Google—Illegal alien costs and read highly regarded reports from unbiased sources.

If we vote back the hidden Liberals, it will be self inflicted wounds. Attention should be drawn to illegal aliens voting, as Senator Reid’s is there only real chance of the passage of—AMNESTY.

These Democrats are not Democrats. They are ANTI – AMERICAN. They are Globalists. They are Communists and Socialists. They are defiantly NOT democrats. This is a Communist / Globalist take over. This is a coup. And, it happened right under our noses.

I am a legal alien (aka permanent resident) in Rhode Island and choose to stay this way while I live in the USA. I pay taxes. My husband (American) and I own our home. Our son goes to the local school for which we pay school taxes. I don’t pledge allegiance, but I still care about the country and where it is going.

Why can’t I vote? Even at the local level?

  5. txlady706 says:

    Sarah Denis:
Because YOU ARE NOT a Citizen. It’s that simple. You don’t call this your country. Where ever you are from, does that country allow it “legal” residents to vote on ANYTHING? Until you swear an oath to defend THIS country to the death, then you are not a person that I want having a say in the PROCESS of MY country that I HAVE sworn a pledge to. You see, I’m an immigrant to this country too. I waited my turn, so why shouldn’t you? What gives you the right to go to the front of the line ahead of me?

    • Sarah Denis says:

OK, I concede the argument. God forbid that I try to have influence on my child’s (who is a citizen, btw) education by voting for school board members. They might try to do something silly like, oh, I don’t know, elect to have him taught understanding and tolerance?
And yes, in my country of origin, Canada, legal residents do not currently have the right to vote (on anything political), but there is discussion, as there is here, to change this.
Everyone here is an immigrant in some way shape or form. Rules that were made up long ago to protect the “citizens” from the immigrants are way out of date.
